How not to take IELTS to study in Norway

If the previous degree was obtained at an English-medium university or college, IELTS is required. Unlike the TOEFL, there is no language proficiency requirement.

  • Students who have completed their previous education at an English-language institution can complete the study requirements without taking the IELTS.
  • To prove that their previous education was in English, students must produce an official declaration or certificate printed on letterhead and stamped paper.

Step 2: Video Interview or Online Test

  • Some universities may accept Skype video interviews or online interviews. If your application is approved, your university will arrange an online interview for you to attend.
  • The purpose of the interview is to assess your English language skills. If you want to be guaranteed a place at an Italian university without taking IELTS, you should do exceptionally well in this interview.
