(Fully-funded) ICYF International Media Training Camp 2024 in Turkey
The ICYF International Media Training Camp in Turkey in 2024 is now accepting applications. This announcement is proudly made by Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) in collaboration with TRT (Turkey). It is a six-day camp for youth and women in Turkey. Young people from all over the world will travel to Istanbul to gain experience in journalism. You do not need to submit an English language test for the ICYF Camp.
ICYF International Media Training Camp dates for young men and women are different. For young men, September 16-21, 2024, and for young women, September 23-28, 2024. Applications are open to Muslim minorities from non-OIC member states, Muslim youth living in Istanbul, and Muslim youth from the 56 OIC. Member States. Objective of ICYF Camp
The ICYF International Media Training Camp seeks to equip the next generation with everyday tools to navigate the world of digital storytelling and news reporting in the information age.

- The camp is located in Antalya, Turkey, in Aladin Kekobat Jankalk Camp, Republic of Turkey.
- Dates: September 16-21 for young men
- September 29 is Young Women’s Week.
ICYF Camp Overseas Travel Benefits:
- Up to $150 USD will be reimbursed by ICYF for participants’ overseas airfare.
- Local Transportation: Only local transportation costs, such as bus transportation to and from the camp site and airport transfers, will be paid by the host organizers.
- Assistance for Visas: An invitation letter will be provided for visa assistance. Visa fee is non-refundable.
- Travel and medical insurance will be provided.
- Accommodation, Local Tours, and Additional Expenses: Host organizers will pay for food, lodging, and any related expenses associated with providing a welcoming environment in the host country.
Ability
- There are no educational requirements. Open to recent graduates and young undergrads.
- Muslim youth from the 56 OIC member countries residing in Istanbul.
- Muslim minorities from non-OIC member states as well as Muslim youth from OIC member states are also eligible.
- Proficiency in English communication for 18 to 25 year olds
- Eager to learn about topics and concerns in the media
- Can come from any industry.
