UNITAR’s Young Leaders Training Program 2025
The United Nations Young Leaders Training Program is now accepting applications. The program will allow participants to gain hands-on experience with the United Nations and equip them with the knowledge and skills to hone their skills as global leaders. The United Nations Young Leaders Online Training Program consists of a 4-week online course implemented on UNITAR’s e-learning platform. It covers key topics from the United Nations, conference diplomacy, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and cosmopolitan communication.
A more favorable choice is an online training course. Students only need to dedicate four to six hours a week to study. The program also includes a 3.5-hour leadership course. All candidates interested in international affairs are welcome to apply to the United Nations Young Leaders Training Program, which aims to improve applicants’ leadership skills and broaden their understanding of the United Nations and Geneva. In addition to reading materials and multimedia files, the course also involves discussions and the sharing of ideas between students and UNITAR teachers.
Additionally, UN experts will conduct 1.5-hour live webinars via Zoom as part of the Young Leaders Training Program. Subjects covered will include:

- Webinar B – The Goals for Sustainable Development (SDGs)
- Webinar C – Training for Model United Nations (MUN)
- Webinar D – Career Development at UN

Who can Apply?
Available to all youth worldwide.
University students, secondary school students, and other young, driven leaders.
Senior officials with youthful spirit as well as junior professionals from public and private sectors are encouraged to apply.
UNITAR certificate
After the program, each participant will get an official UNITAR certificate of completion.
