MITACS Globalink Research Internship in Canada (2025) (Fully Funded)
Mitacs Globalink Research Internship 2025 call for applications is currently live. For international students studying in Canada, the GlobalLink Research Internship offers a fully supported international internship opportunity. Each year, a 12-week internship at a Canadian university with first-class research facilities takes place from May to October. Candidates will be employed by a faculty member of an academic institution in Canada, who will supervise them. Enrolled undergraduate students from the following countries — Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Mexico, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Taiwan, Tunisia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and the United States — or Those enrolled in joint undergraduate/master’s programs are eligible for MITACS internships. Additionally, applicants are not required to submit their IELTS test results. All expenses will be paid. Applications for the Global Link Internship are open to students from these countries. All fields of study and multiple projects are eligible for Global Link Research Internships.

Conditions for Eligibility for Mitacs Globalink Research Internship
- Have at least eighteen years old.
- Fulfill the GPA standards established by each nation.
- Have three or more remaining semesters by the fall of 2025.
- If your passport is not currently valid, you are allowed to apply.
- Obtain a professor’s letter of recommendation.
- Revisit your resume.
- Obtain your transcripts of grades (in French or English).
- Make sure the projects you apply to come from at least three distinct Canadian provinces. You may apply to up to ten projects.
- The passport should be valid through January 2026.
