• It conforms to the curriculum structure of the Ministry of Education of China, which assigns master’s degree holders to 13 discipline categories:
• Art, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, military science, economics, law, education, literature, history, and philosophy.

Exemption for proficiency in English

1. For foreign applicants whose first language is English or who have obtained an English-taught undergraduate or higher degree, English proficiency test results are not required.
2. Regardless of prior education, applicants from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan (HMT) are required to submit English proficiency test results. Those who do not obtain a passing grade must enroll in Peking University in English as a second language.
3. English proficiency test results must be submitted by applicants from Mainland China.
4. Must take approved English proficiency tests after September 1, 2023.
