Ready to attend the fully funded Youth Forum in Abu Dhabi, UAE? We welcome young people from around the world to apply for the 6th IRENA Youth Forum in 2025. The forum, which is part of the fifteenth session of the IRENA Assembly, will be held from January 9-13, 2025. An opportunity to present your ideas and solutions for the energy transition through this International Youth Forum. Every year, the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) organizes it. IRENA Youth Forum: What is it?
- A forum where young people can build their network by interacting with IRENA professionals, government officials, and thought leaders from around the world.
- A forum for communication and collaboration between youth and international energy stakeholders.
- An opportunity for youth to exchange ideas, feedback, and strategies to accelerate the transition to renewable energy sources.
- A way to introduce young people to experts, decision-makers, and other influential people on the subject.

Concept
The theme of the IRENA 2025 Forum is “The New Generation of Decision Makers”.
Who is eligible to apply?
All citizens are welcome to visit the forum. According to the United Nations, applications are invited from youth and representatives of all other developing countries, as well as LDCs and SIDs.
Ability
- Youth can apply if they are between 16 to 35 years of age.
- IELTS is not necessary.
- Application should be made online.
