YSEALI Professional Fellows Program 2025 in the USA (Fully Funded)
The US Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs sponsors a fully funded exchange program in the United States known as the YSEALI Professional Fellows Program. Young leaders can gain valuable fellowship experience in nonprofit, public, or private sector organizations across the United States during this fully funded five- to six-week program. YSEALI PFP has received full funding. Travel abroad, obtaining a visa, and the necessities of everyday life in the US are all covered. There will be no fee for associates.
The goal of the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Professional Fellows Program is to promote understanding, develop fellows’ leadership skills, and create lasting connections between leaders in Southeast Asia and the United States. As YSEALI Professional Fellows, participants will collaborate to develop potential solutions to urgent regional and global issues. Themes for YSEALI PFP 2025
Four themes are used to manage fellowships. Under each of the following institute themes, the YSEALI Professional Fellows Program provides leadership and opportunity for professional development.

Participation in civic life
Benefit from the Fellows Civic Engagement Institute’s support of nonprofit organizations, community development, advocacy, education, media and journalism, law, equitable health care, youth work, and victims of abuse. will
Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Economic Empowerment
Professionals working in small and medium business development, business administration, business education, economic development policy, social entrepreneurship, and community training programs will receive support from the Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Empowerment Institute.
Governance and Society
Legislative processes, local or national governance, public administration and management, policy making, financial management, political campaigns and initiatives, health and human services, public-private partnerships, public safety, transportation and urban planning, law, and the judiciary. Professionals engaged in reform. Policymaking will be supported by society and governance institutes.
Environmental protection and sustainability
in the areas of food and water security, ecotourism, public health, creative development and management of agricultural and food systems, energy, housing, and transportation resource management, natural resource conservation and restoration, and waste management. Working professionals will be supported by sustainability. and environmental institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Hold citizenship and live in one of the following countries: Timor-Leste, Thailand, Vietnam, Burma, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos, Singapore, Philippines, or Vietnam. These are the nations of Southeast Asia.
- You must have relevant experience in the field to which you wish to apply and be an emerging leader in business, non-profit organizations, and government.
- You should have at least two years of experience working in a comparable field.
- You ought to be in the age range of 25 to 35.
- Working well with people from many cultures should come naturally to you.
- It is advisable to have a project in mind that you would like to work on at work or in your community.
- You must speak and write English fluently.
- You must be an effective team player and leader.

Applications for the YSEALI PFP 2025 are now open until October 17! The online application, which can be accessed through the AIS Forms portal, should be completed by the applicant.
